Barcode Loading & Document Automation
An Android barcode-scanning app plus a loading portal that fixed warehouse document creation at the source, invoices, loading documents and CMR generated in one click instead of hours of manual entry.
The problem
Goods were loaded from handwritten paper lists, messy writing, wrong or missing codes. Once the truck was ready, the office manually re-keyed everything to generate invoices, loading documents and CMR. It took hours and mistakes were common.
What I built
Instead of fixing the office work, I fixed where the data starts. An Android app uses the camera as a barcode scanner so items are scanned directly while loading, no writing, no retyping. A loading list portal lets the warehouse team confirm items in real time, and one click generates all the documents automatically.
Outcome
Hours reduced to minutes, no double entry, far fewer mistakes, and full clarity on what is actually loaded. A clear example that many problems don't need AI, they need the right tool at the right moment.
