ERP & Operations Systems Specialist
I turn messy operations into systems people actually use.
Sixteen years building practical software for stock, production, quoting and deliveries, for bespoke manufacturers, fit-out and project-based businesses. I see workflows where others see isolated problems.

About
I work at the intersection of the factory floor and the codebase.
Most consultants understand how businesses operate but not how software is built. Most developers understand the reverse. I move comfortably between both (factory-floor discussions, commercial strategy, software architecture and process design), and the best opportunities live in that overlap.
I naturally think in systems: dependencies, constraints, flows, bottlenecks and feedback loops. My strongest skill is translating the messy reality of an operation into software that people genuinely adopt, because most business problems aren't people problems: they're visibility problems, process problems, systems problems.
I run a furniture manufacturing operation in Poland, largely remotely from Ireland, and turn the problems I meet in production, warehousing, logistics and quoting into products through Apslo →
What I do
Practical systems between Excel and ERP.
Quoting & production systems
Bespoke systems that connect accurate quoting directly to production and installation, built for high-variation, made-to-order work.
Shop-floor & mobile apps
Production visibility where work actually happens. Teams and subcontractors update status from a phone, without friction.
Operations systemising
Turn constant firefighting into a system people follow: work, ownership, source of truth, triggers and guidance.
AI & automation
Targeted automation that removes manual work and delivers measurable results, not a chat assistant bolted onto a routine.
Bottleneck audits
Find the real constraint before you spend on the wrong one, using Theory of Constraints.
Bespoke operational tools
Custom tools that replace fragile Excel processes across office and shop floor.
Selected work
Products and projects.
Board
Production tracking for small & medium manufacturers.
View project →ApsloCRM
A modular CRM that fits real client workflows.
View project →Barcode Loading & Document Automation
A 2-3 hour document process cut to minutes.

Notes on operations & systems.
Why good ERP systems fail in real life
I recently had a conversation with an experienced consultant about ERP systems. He said something simple, but very true: Most ERP software is actually good. The problem is not always the software. The…
From Hours to Minutes: Fix the Data Where It Starts
A 2-3 hour process of creating loading documents, cut to a few minutes. No extra staff. No AI. Just a simple mobile app and a small change to where the data starts.
Takt Time: The Quick Math for a Tight Deadline
If a new order lands with a tight deadline, takt time tells you in two minutes whether the numbers actually work, before you promise a date you can't hit.
Three Questions That Expose a Cash Flow Problem
Optimising cash flow often starts with optimising throughput. If you can't answer these three questions in ten minutes, you don't have a cash flow problem yet, you have a visibility problem.
Have a workflow that's outgrown the spreadsheet?
If your process still runs on paper, memory, or "we'll update it later", there's usually a simpler fix than it seems. Tell me how your operation actually works and let's find it.
